Best Buddies

On mornings when Ty wakes up after Arick and Brianna have left for school he will always say, "Hey where are the kids?" and when I tell him they left for school he sadly says, "Not my best buddy!" (Talk about tugging at my heartstrings!) Can you guess who his best buddy is? Yup, Arick. Why does he call Arick his best buddy? Well, Arick has been teaching impressionable, little Ty to call him(Arick) 'best buddy'. Ha! They sure have their moments of best buddy behavior(like the photo above) but there are still those moments when it is obvious that Arick can't wait for Ty to be older. And although the title was heavily promoted by Arick, I don't mind. I can only hope that they will always be 'best buddies.'
